Tyson Foods (NYSE:TSN) introduced that it inked a deal to amass Williams Sausage Company for an undisclosed quantity.
Williams Sausage Company is famous to be a supplier of contemporary and absolutely cooked sausage, bacon and sandwiches to retail and foodservice prospects. The firm relies out of Union City, Tennessee and constructed a second facility in Obion County, Tennessee in 2017 with a brand new distribution heart, upkeep heart, and a sandwich manufacturing line.
“The addition of Williams Sausage Company aligns with our strategic intent of expanding our capacity to serve our customers,” said Tyson exec Stewart Glendinning.
The transaction is still subject to approval by U.S. regulators before closing.
