Prominent crypto on-chain analyst Willy Woo has said there is a high probability we have already seen a Bitcoin bottom. He assigned a 90% chance that the bottom is already in and that the bulls could be regrouping for an eventual long-term assault. Bitcoin is trading around $76k at press time.

The analyst points out that the premier crypto is already operating within an early bull market structure, driven by liquidity inflows and steady buying. Woo has accurately predicted previous market bottoms and tops and has built a reputation focused on on-chain metrics and data rather than just price charts and investor trends.
Is the 4-Year Cycle Dead?
However, this time around, Woo is proposing a change from the conventional crypto market approach, as the 4-year cycle suggests an eventual bottom will form in the last quarter of 2026.
Woo is going in the other direction, believing the legacy 4-year pattern is now dead after the roller coaster of the last 2-3 years, which have seen BTC deviate significantly from it.
The Next Bull Market
Crypto traders are eagerly waiting for the next bull market to arrive, but there is no clear indication yet that it is near us. Woo himself stopped short of predicting the length of any upcoming bull season. He quipped that this time around, a multi-year advance could unfold, mimicking the previous bull market, which behaved very differently from a traditional cycle.
According to him, investor flows will determine the length of the incoming bull market. If the cryptocurrency can command their confidence for 2-3 years, it is likely to last as long, Woo argues.
The Future
Woo’s comments have reignited the debate regarding the arrival of the bull market. The main debate is twofold:
- Whether or not we have witnessed a long-term Bitcoin Bottom
- Has the cryptocurrency stabilized after falling considerably during the first half of 2026
An asset like BTC usually stabilizes after a long period of capitulation, finds strong support, and holds it while improving despite the bearish setup. While Woo has predicted an early bullish setup, he has left room for a price pullback to previous levels before a clear bullish pattern can be confirmed.
Bitcoin is currently down 3% after the Trump-sponsored CLARITY Act was rejected by the US Senate yesterday.
