Blockchain infrastructure provider @Alchemy is offering eligible teams building on @arc up to $10K in credits for its services, in a bid to attract developers to Circle's new Layer 1 network. The credits go directly into a team's Alchemy account and cover a 90-day trial period.

Who the Alchemy credits are for

The program targets three groups: teams bringing an existing app to Arc, teams moving their setup onto Alchemy, and developers building their first $USDC payment flow. Alchemy supplies the servers and tools that apps use to connect to blockchains, so the credits offset infrastructure costs during the early stages of a project.

The move follows a pattern. Alchemy has run similar credit schemes for other ecosystems. In April it launched a $20 million fund for Solana builders, with tiers ranging from up to $250 in trial credits to up to $25,000 for enterprise teams, valid for 90 days after redemption, according to Yahoo Finance. Alchemy's own startup program also offers qualified teams Alchemy credits, $5,000 in AWS credits and 24/7 engineering support.

Alchemy is also already part of Arc's infrastructure layer. Circle's launch announcement named Alchemy, BCW, Blockdaemon, Chainlink, Figment, Kaleido and Quicknode as powering the developer and infrastructure layer supporting builders on Arc.

Arc's mainnet and USDC fees

Arc is the blockchain from @circle. Circle announced the public mainnet launch of Arc, an open Layer 1 blockchain built for financial markets, real-time money movement and agentic economic activity. The mainnet opened on September 16, and the network uses $USDC to pay fees. In Circle's words, fees are paid in USDC, with no volatile native token required.

That design is aimed at businesses that need predictable costs. Circle said Arc is fully EVM-compatible, so existing Solidity contracts and developer tools work on day one, which lowers the barrier for teams porting apps from other networks. The company also said the testnet processed more than 700 million transactions in under a year.

Circle has separately courted developers with its own funding. Its Arc site says the company is giving up to $1M to teams building on Arc, and Circle Ventures has launched an Arc Builders Fund offering selected teams early-stage capital, access to an investor network and direct technical support, according to Bitget News.

For developers, the Alchemy credits add another low-cost way to test on the network before committing to a paid plan. Eligibility rules and application details are set by Alchemy.
