Archax Brings FCA-Regulated Pipeline to Aptos

Archax, the UK's first Financial Conduct Authority-regulated digital securities exchange, broker, and custodian, has integrated with the Aptos blockchain to bring more than 100 regulated real-world assets (RWAs) onchain. The partnership adds support for the Aptos protocol directly to Archax's tokenization engine. Beyond the initial launch, Archax plans to tokenize additional financial instruments including funds, equities, and debt securities on the Aptos network.

Archax supports the full lifecycle of digital securities: issuance, trading, and custody, all within a regulated framework. The firm has already tokenized more than 100 assets valued at over $400 million, spanning bonds, equities, commodities, funds, and stablecoins across multiple asset managers. The Aptos integration extends that regulated infrastructure to a blockchain that holds nearly $1 billion in RWA-backed assets and processes $50 billion in monthly stablecoin volume. The blockchain already hosts tokenized products associated with major financial institutions, including BlackRock and Franklin Templeton.

Reinsurance Fund Leads the Way

Members Capital Management Limited (MembersCap), the Bermuda-regulated investment manager, has broadened its tokenized reinsurance fund distribution by making MCM Fund I available to institutional investors on the Aptos blockchain via the Archax digital asset exchange. The Aptos Foundation is a General Partner in the fund. The move is notable: blockchain networks typically position themselves as neutral infrastructure, and taking an economic interest in assets running on the chain aligns incentives between the network and the asset issuer in ways that a simple technology licensing deal does not.

Reinsurance has consistently outperformed most traditional alternatives over the past two decades, yet the sector has historically been reserved for pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, and other institutional giants. Tokenizing it on a public blockchain opens access to a broader pool of qualified investors. For asset managers and institutional issuers, the arrangement provides a route to place regulated financial products on blockchain infrastructure, with the compliant brokerage, custody, trading, and settlement arrangements that institutional investors typically require before committing capital to blockchain-based financial products.
