Argus (@Arguspad), a token launchpad on @arc chain, generated about $1.89M in fees and $248K in revenue over the past 30 days, the most of any app on Arc, according to DefiLlama data. The pace has slowed since the network's September launch rush.

How Argus earns its fees

Creators set a buy-and-sell tax on each token launch, and most of it flows to them and their token holders, with Argus taking a cut. Argus's documentation states that tax and LP fees follow one route: Argus takes 10%, then the remainder is split four ways. Buy tax ranges from 0% to 10% and is set by the creator.

Under that structure, creators can direct their share to USDC payouts, buybacks and burns, USDC dividends to holders, or additional liquidity, according to a KuCoin News summary of the platform. Argus's own platform token, $ARGUS, is separate from the tokens launched on it.

Fees are also affected by a 1% pool fee on swaps, since each launch opens a Uniswap v4 pool on Arc, per the project's docs. DefiLlama's adapter for the launchpad counts fees when they accrue, according to a DefiLlama adapter pull request.

Activity cools after the September rush

Argus took in about $4.55M in fees during September, when Arc launched. October has brought in roughly $432K so far, including $88K over the past week.

Arc is Circle's Layer 1 blockchain. Finextra reported that the mainnet launched on September 16, 2026, with a founding validator group that includes BlackRock, the DTCC, Standard Chartered and Visa. Gas fees on the network are paid in USDC rather than a volatile native token.

Early trading was heavily skewed toward memecoin launchpads. A Banana Gun recap of Arc's first two weeks noted that about 82% of a widely shared $410.8M DEX volume figure from Dune came from memecoin launchpads, with Arguspad alone accounting for $202M. DefiLlama's cleaner count put day-one volume at around $82M, the same recap said.

DefiLlama's Arc page showed 24-hour app fees of about $79,346 on October 21, with Argus World listed as the chain's launchpad app. Whether fees stabilise at current levels will depend on how much new token creation and trading Arc can sustain beyond the initial launch period.
