Aster to Pass NVIDIA Dividend Through to NVDAB Token Holders
Aster DEX has announced it will support NVIDIA's upcoming quarterly cash dividend for holders of NVDAB, its tokenized bStock that tracks NVIDIA exposure on the platform. NVIDIA has announced a quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per share, payable on October 1, 2026, to all shareholders of record on September 10, 2026. Aster is passing that benefit through to on-chain holders of NVDAB.
NVDAB is a digital certificate on the BNB Chain that provides on-chain exposure to NVIDIA Corporation shares through a 1:1 backed tokenization model. The asset is legally classified as a certificate representing financial instruments and is issued by BTech Holdings Limited, a Binance-affiliated entity.
Users holding NVDAB at the snapshot time of 2026-09-10 08:00 (UTC+8) will receive stock dividends. Deposits and withdrawals of NVDAB will be paused temporarily ahead of that snapshot, though perpetual positions and NVDAB spot trading will remain unaffected during that period.
How the Dividend Distribution Works
After deducting applicable withholding taxes, fees, costs, and other expenses, the net cash dividend amount will be reinvested into additional units or fractional shares of the same underlying securities. In practice, this means eligible NVDAB holders will see their token balances increase rather than receiving a separate cash payment.
The smart contract manages the lifecycle of the token, including the "multiplier" feature that reflects corporate actions like dividends.Users holding NVDAB balances on-chain will receive bStocks dividends through a multiplier adjustment.
The move reflects a broader trend of decentralised platforms seeking to replicate the full economic experience of equity ownership on-chain, including corporate actions such as dividends. NVIDIA has raised its dividend for three consecutive years, with a payout ratio of 3.51% and a five-year dividend growth rate of 34.34%.
