TLDR

  • Atlassian stock rises 1.51% as its enterprise AI expansion gathers momentum.
  • New engineering teams will embed directly inside major customer operations.
  • Expedia archived 600,000 Confluence pages and saved 3,200 work hours yearly.

Atlassian Corporation (TEAM) shares climbed 1.51% to $196.91 as the company expanded its enterprise AI strategy. The software group launched a Forward Deployed Engineering program that places senior engineers directly inside customer operations. The move strengthens Atlassian’s push to turn AI adoption into measurable business results across large organizations.TEAM Stock Card Atlassian Corporation, TEAM

Atlassian Expands Enterprise AI With Embedded Engineering Teams

Atlassian designed the new program around direct customer engagement and production deployment. Senior applied engineers will work inside customer environments and build tailored tools for specific business needs. They will also improve workflows across technical teams, support functions and enterprise knowledge systems.

The company says many workers already use AI, but organization-wide returns remain limited. Its latest internal research found that 85% of knowledge workers use AI in their jobs. However, only 6% of executives reported clear company-wide returns from those deployments.

Atlassian aims to close that gap by combining engineering support with deeper organizational context. The program connects company knowledge, communications, code, work data, and digital assets across shared systems. Atlassian says this model improves answer quality while reducing computing resources required for AI tasks.

TEAM Stock Gains as Customer Use Cases Show Early Scale

TEAM stock rose as Atlassian highlighted early results from customers using its engineering support model. Expedia used the program to improve content operations across Confluence and remove large amounts of outdated material. The company archived 600,000 pages and saved about 3,200 working hours each year.

Expedia also expanded automated activity across engineering projects after the deployment. Its teams now run more than 10,000 agent tasks each month across 50 live projects. Atlassian says the program also improved search quality and access to trusted internal information.

Reddit is also working with Atlassian engineers on enterprise automation and knowledge management. The partnership uses Atlassian tools to connect workplace applications and improve internal operational processes. Both companies are also exploring ways to simplify IT work and support broader employee productivity.

Twelve Week Program Targets Automation and Enterprise Adoption

Atlassian plans to run most Forward Deployed Engineering engagements over a 12-week period. During that period, engineers can build custom assistants for IT support, human resources, reporting, and task routing. They can also automate bug triage, sprint support, backlog cleanup, and stale-work detection.

The program also connects Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Google Drive, and other business systems. That structure allows teams to search, combine, and use information from several sources faster. It also supports governance work, content cleanup, lifecycle management, and enterprise knowledge control.

Atlassian uses a shared development model that requires customers to contribute their own engineers. That approach gives internal teams direct experience building with Atlassian’s platform during each engagement. It also helps Atlassian convert successful projects into reusable tools, fixes, connectors, and wider product improvements.
