Crypto traders looking for exposure to traditional tech stocks now have a gamified route to try them out. Bybit has rolled out an AI-themed trading and referral event that ties directly into its traditional finance perpetual contracts. The promotion revolves around six major tech names: Nvidia, Oracle, Adobe, Dell, Marvell, and SanDisk. Running through Sept. 20, 2026, the campaign puts a combined prize pool of up to $300,000 on the table, with individual payouts capping out at $2,500.

How the AI Future City Works

The event, dubbed "Build Your AI Future City," splits into three distinct tracks. In the first phase, participants complete basic onboarding tasks. These include standard account registration, social media shares, and referral invites.

Each task awards digital fragments linked to the six spotlighted tech firms. Collect every fragment, and you unlock a shot at the Genesis Grand Prize: a flat $1,000 reward reserved for the first 500 traders who finish the set. Speed matters here.

Leaderboard Races and Referral Bounties

The second pillar centers on a competitive referral board. The top 200 referrers will split a $20,000 prize pool, ranked strictly by the number of active traders they bring on board.

Extra cash is on the line, too. Affiliates and everyday users can pick up direct referral bonuses worth up to $32 per invite. These smaller payouts trigger when newcomers hit specific deposit targets, use fiat on-ramps, or cross key trading volume milestones.

Derivatives Meet Big Tech

Prizes are not just handed out as raw cash. Instead, Bybit is distributing rewards as position airdrops on its TradFi perpetual contracts.

That distinction matters. Traders get synthetic price exposure to Wall Street tech stocks without actually buying or holding underlying shares. It is a pure derivatives play settled on crypto rails. The exchange first introduced these contracts in April 2026 and has scaled quickly since, listing over 200 trading pairs spanning equities, ETFs, precious metals, and crude oil. Across its entire TradFi catalog, Bybit now hosts more than 400 assets.

The Bigger Picture for Crypto Markets

This campaign points to a clear shift in how crypto exchanges operate today. Rather than sticking strictly to tokens, platforms are actively building bridges to traditional equities. Tying the promotion to artificial intelligence and semiconductor heavyweights is no accident either. Tech stocks are driving global market momentum, and crypto traders want in on the volatility. Eligible users have until Sept. 20, 2026, to take part before the doors close.
