CryptoCompass editorial visual for markets coverage.
  • Binance launched four new tokenized bStocks trading pairs on October 14, 2026: Blackberry (BBB), MongoDB (MDBB), Penguin Solutions (PENGB) and the ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Futures ETF (UVXYB)
  • All four bStocks were also added as eligible collateral assets on Binance the same day, letting holders use the tokens to back other positions on the exchange
  • Binance’s disclaimer describes bStocks as certificates representing financial instruments, not actual shares, offered under an Approved Prospectus in the Abu Dhabi Global Market and explicitly unavailable to US persons

Binance expanded its lineup of tokenized equity products on October 14, 2026, adding four new bStocks trading pairs against USDT: BBB for Blackberry, MDBB for MongoDB Inc, PENGB for Penguin Solutions, and UVXYB for the ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Futures ETF, a fund that itself already applies leverage to short-term VIX futures before any additional exposure from holding it as a bStock. Spot trading in all four pairs opened at 12:00 UTC, with withdrawals enabled an hour later at 13:00 UTC.

In a separate but related announcement published the same day, Binance confirmed all four tokens would also be accepted as collateral assets on the exchange, meaning users holding BBB, MDBB, PENGB or UVXYB can pledge them to support margin or other leveraged positions elsewhere on the platform, extending their utility beyond simple spot trading. Binance also enabled its Spot Algo Trading Bots for the new pairs immediately at listing, with Rebalancing Bots following within 24 hours, and offered zero-fee Convert trading against BTC, USDT and other tokens for the first hour after listing, alongside zero maker fees running through October 31.

Binance’s own disclaimer language is explicit about what bStocks actually are and are not: the tokens are classified as “certificates representing certain financial instruments,” not stocks or shares themselves, meaning holders do not directly own equity in Blackberry, MongoDB, Penguin Solutions or the underlying VIX ETF, and the tokens carry no affiliation with any of those companies or funds. Users can convert direct holdings of the actual underlying securities into bStocks at a 1:1 ratio with no conversion fee, and the tokens themselves run on BNB Smart Chain, with Binance publishing each token’s contract address alongside the announcement.

The products are offered exclusively through an Approved Prospectus in the Abu Dhabi Global Market, a free zone financial center, and Binance’s disclaimer is unambiguous that bStocks “are not offered or accessible in the United States or to U.S. persons” and are not registered under the US Securities Act of 1933 or any state securities laws. Binance further reserved broad discretion to restrict, suspend, reject, cancel or unwind access to the products at its sole discretion, and flagged that tokens held and transferred on-chain outside a central securities depository environment may face restrictions if a holder later tries to move them back into that regulated depository framework.

The announcements, published on Binance’s official support and announcement center, close with Binance’s standard risk warning that virtual asset prices are volatile and that purchasers of bStocks may not get back the amount they invested, language the exchange applies consistently across its various tokenized-securities offerings.
