Binance opened its free AI trading interface to all English-language users worldwide on Monday, after a beta that the company says drew about 150,000 testers.

Key Points:

  • Binance AI is now available to all English-language users after a beta that began Sept. 7.
  • The free tool tailors market data, portfolio tracking and alerts to each user's experience level.
  • A separate strategy agent, Binance AI Pro, is due in the second half of October.

Binance AI Rollout

The exchange announced the wider release Monday, describing Binance AI as a set of features that adjusts layouts and market context to each user. About 150,000 people tried the product during a beta that began Sept. 7, a company spokesperson said. Support for more languages is still rolling out.

Newer users see simpler explanations and prompts, while active traders get deeper data views and modules tied to specific products. Other features include voice alerts when tracked assets move, a recap of the previous day's profit and loss, and text or audio market briefs refreshed every four hours.

Binance has not pitched the free tool as an autonomous trading bot. The company showed it in a livestream last week alongside Binance AI Pro, a separate agent that turns plain-language ideas into trading strategies. AI Pro is due in the second half of October.

Jeff Li's Pitch

"Markets are becoming more complex, but the tools to understand them should become easier to use," Jeff Li, Binance's vice president of product, said in a statement.

Co-CEO Richard Teng has cast the effort as a way to close the knowledge gap between everyday users and market professionals. "Blockchain is giving everyone access to markets; AI gives everyone the knowledge to navigate them," he said earlier this month. The tool fits Binance's push to become a financial super-app.

Whether that knowledge translates into profits is another matter, and a September academic review found no public evidence that any general AI design delivers lasting, risk-adjusted returns after costs. Binance also warns users not to rely solely on AI output.

Binance Intelligence Stack

Binance AI is one part of Binance Intelligence, an AI product stack the company unveiled at a livestreamed event in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 5. AI Pro will follow on a freemium model, with a premium plan costing 19.99 USD Coin(USDC) a month that unlocks live trading. Binance first opened an AI Pro beta to a limited group on Mar. 25.
