Binance has extended its RLUSD airdrop campaign by four weeks, offering eligible users a reward pool containing 1 million XRP tokens. The crypto exchange retained its existing participation requirements while increasing the XRP available through the RLUSD rewards initiative.
Binance originally launched the campaign on July 17, allocating $800,000 worth of XRP to qualifying Ripple USD holders. The first round ended on August 14, while the extension provides RLUSD users another four weeks to earn XRP rewards. Moreover, Binance will distribute rewards every Friday, maintaining the weekly payment structure established during the original campaign.

Binance Keeps Requirements for 1 Million XRP Pool
Eligible users must hold RLUSD within qualifying Binance account categories throughout the applicable reward calculation periods. These holdings include RLUSD stored through Flexible Savings within Binance Earn or balances maintained in supported Margin accounts.
Additionally, RLUSD used as collateral through Cross Margin, Isolated Margin, or Portfolio Margin accounts can meet the holding requirement. Participants must maintain at least 0.01 RLUSD within eligible Earn or Margin accounts to qualify for XRP distributions.
However, Binance also requires users to meet a trading threshold before receiving rewards from the 1 million XRP pool. Participants need an average daily trading volume of at least $500 across Margin or Futures markets using supported trading pairs.
Binance first listed RLUSD in January, adding spot trading support for the dollar-backed stablecoin issued by Ripple. Furthermore, the exchange added RLUSD to Binance Earn, expanding how customers can use their stablecoin holdings across its platform.
XRP Ledger Activity Climbs as Sentiment Remains Bearish
Meanwhile, XRP Ledger activity has strengthened alongside Binance’s extended campaign involving the network’s native cryptocurrency. According to Santiment, XRP registered 49,929 active addresses within 24 hours, marking its highest activity level in over two months.
Earlier July activity had fallen near 2026 lows, making the latest address figures a notable change in network participation. However, stronger blockchain activity has not translated into improved sentiment among cryptocurrency traders and social media users.
Santiment recorded a three-month bearish sentiment extreme across X, Reddit, Telegram, and other cryptocurrency communities it tracks. XRP traded around $1.00 in the referenced market data, with its price remaining largely unchanged over the previous 24 hours.
Consequently, Binance’s extension places 1 million XRP behind its RLUSD campaign, while XRP Ledger participation shows increased activity. The four-week campaign keeps RLUSD central to the rewards program while giving qualifying holders additional access to weekly XRP distributions.
