Binance is pushing further into traditional finance with the launch of physically settled options on more than 1,000 US-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds. The products will not be available to US users.
How the Product Works
Binance will offer the options through Nest Trading Limited, its Abu Dhabi Global Market-regulated broker-dealer.Nest Trading Limited acts as introducing broker, routing orders to Alpaca Securities LLC, a US-registered self-clearing broker-dealer, for execution, clearing, settlement, and custody. The contracts are physically settled, meaning that upon exercise, users receive or deliver the underlying shares of supported US-listed stocks and ETFs, held in custody by Alpaca on behalf of Binance users.
The launch builds on Binance's existing US equities offering, which includes 7,000+ stocks and ETFs through Nest Trading Limited's partnership with Alpaca, and complements equity-linked perpetual futures listed on Binance's Recognized Investment Exchange.Users can now access stocks, ETFs, tokenized securities, equity-linked perpetuals, and stock options from a single Binance account.
TradFi Demand Surges, Competition Intensifies
The move comes against a backdrop of rapidly growing appetite for traditional financial products on crypto platforms. TradFi perpetual futures volume on Binance reached approximately $433.4 billion in August 2026, roughly 15x January's $29.5 billion.Binance data also showed users in emerging markets accounted for more than 80% of direct stock trading volume during the first week of launch.
The broader tokenized equities market is also expanding fast. Token Terminal data from July 2026 placed the tokenized stocks market cap at an all-time high of $2.2 billion, while tokenized US Treasuries on BNB Chain surged to $4.6 billion. Competitors are moving in the same direction, with Coinbase, Kraken, and Robinhood all advancing their own equities offerings, tightening the race to become a single destination for both crypto and traditional assets.
Stock options are the latest in a line of traditional-asset products made available on Binance, from tokenized securities to perpetual futures.
