Binance, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, has announced plans to remove several margin and spot trading pairs from its platform in September 2026. The company outlined a timeline and additional details for users affected by the upcoming delistings.

Planned margin trading pair removals

Five Cross Margin trading pairs are scheduled for delisting on September 18, 2026, at 06:00 (UTC): ENJ/USDC, GENIUS/USDC, CVX/USDC, GUN/USDC, and VANA/USDC. Among these, the GENIUS/USDC pair will also be delisted from Isolated Margin trading on the same date and time.

Effective immediately, Binance has restricted users from transferring assets related to these pairs into their Isolated Margin accounts, both via manual transfers and the Auto-Transfer Mode. This measure precedes the full delisting process.

Borrowing for Isolated Margin on GENIUS/USDC will be suspended on September 16, 2026, at 06:00 (UTC). Two days later, at the scheduled time, user positions will be closed, automatic settlements conducted, and all pending orders canceled for the affected pairings. These pairs will then be removed from Binance Margin services.

Binance has advised users to proactively close any open positions or transfer assets from Margin Accounts to Spot Accounts before trading is halted. The company noted that users might not be able to change their positions during the delisting process, which could take up to three hours. These steps are intended to minimize potential losses stemming from involuntary liquidations.

USDP spot trading to be discontinued

In addition to margin pair removals, Binance will delist and permanently remove all Pax Dollar (USDP) spot trading pairs from the exchange. Trading on all USDP spot pairs will cease at 03:00 (UTC) on September 24, 2026.

Users will be unable to deposit USDP tokens to their accounts after September 25, 2026, at 03:00 (UTC). Withdrawal support for the stablecoin will subsequently end on November 24, 2026, also at 03:00 (UTC).

After November 25, 2026, at 03:00 (UTC), any remaining USDP balances may be converted into stablecoins at Binance’s discretion, allowing users continued access to their funds within the platform’s supported stablecoin offerings.

Pax Dollar (USDP) is a regulated US dollar-backed stablecoin issued by Paxos Trust Company. Stablecoins such as USDP are commonly used for trading, payments, and as a less volatile store of value in the cryptocurrency market compared to traditional digital assets.

The company stated that users will retain the ability to trade the affected assets against other supported pairs on Binance Margin, subject to the availability of those pairings after September 18, 2026.

Binance advised users to close their margin positions or transfer their assets to spot accounts ahead of delisting, emphasizing that position adjustments will not be possible during the removal process, which may last up to three hours.

These actions form part of Binance’s ongoing efforts to periodically review and manage its trading pair offerings based on factors such as market liquidity, platform risk management, and user activity.
