TLDR:
- Binance USDC inflow topped $470 million, marking its largest positive netflow in 174 days.
- US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted about $1.92 billion during their strongest week in 10 months.
- Bitcoin gained roughly 23% during the week ending August 21 before moving above $80,000.
- ETF flows and stablecoin deposits measure separate liquidity channels and cannot form one capital-flow total.
Bitcoin liquidity strengthened across exchanges and regulated investment products as Binance USDC inflow topped $470 million on August 24. The deposit marked Binance’s largest positive USDC netflow in 174 days.
Meanwhile, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their strongest weekly inflows in 10 months. The two trends emerged as Bitcoin rallied roughly 23% and climbed above $80,000.
Binance USDC Inflow Reaches $470M as Bitcoin Trading Liquidity Grows
CryptoQuant analyst Amr Taha reported that Binance received more than $470 million in net USDC inflows on August 24.
The reading marked the exchange’s highest positive USDC netflow since March 3. It also represented a 174-day high.
Positive stablecoin netflows increase the dollar-linked liquidity available for exchange trading. However, net deposits alone do not show how traders ultimately deploy those funds.
The Binance USDC inflow arrived after Bitcoin posted its largest weekly gain in more than three years. BTC gained approximately 23% during the week ending August 21.
Bitcoin then moved above $80,000 and reached a three-month high on August 25. The price rally occurred alongside stronger activity across separate liquidity channels.
CryptoQuant noted that exchange stablecoin balances and ETF flows measure different activities. Therefore, they cannot form a single combined capital-flow figure.
Still, both indicators strengthened during the same market period. That timing linked Bitcoin’s advance with rising liquidity in both markets.
Bitcoin ETF Flows Hit 10-Month High as BTC Rally Accelerates
US spot Bitcoin ETFs also posted their strongest weekly inflow performance since early October 2025.
The seven-day average of net ETF flows reached 3,820 BTC on August 21. That marked the highest reading since early January.
The seven-day total reached approximately 26,700 BTC, according to CryptoQuant’s data. Farside Investors separately recorded about $1.92 billion in net inflows between August 17 and August 21.
All five trading sessions during that period recorded positive flows. The streak produced the strongest weekly result for Bitcoin ETFs in 10 months.
The ETF activity preceded Binance’s large USDC deposit by three days. Together, the readings showed increased liquidity across regulated products and exchange-based stablecoin balances.
However, each metric tracks a separate source of market activity. ETF purchases do not represent the same capital as USDC deposited on Binance.
According to CryptoQuant, the next market development depends on whether ETF demand continues. It also depends on how traders deploy the newly deposited USDC.
The two indicators now provide separate measures of liquidity during Bitcoin’s recent price recovery. Their persistence will determine whether those conditions continue.
