Bitget and UNICEF have launched a free online financial literacy module that adds blockchain lessons to a curriculum for young learners.
The self-paced course sits on Agora, UNICEF's learning platform, and combines short video lessons, visual materials and quizzes. It covers supply and demand, budgeting, credit, loans, interest rates and the basics of blockchain, and students who finish receive a certificate. The module carries no fee.
A short game called Neon Paycheck opens the course, casting players as a young worker in a futuristic city who must earn, spend, plan and avoid scams.
Bitget helped write the blockchain chapters of the curriculum, and chief executive Gracy Chen appears throughout the module.
Chen said education has long mattered to her, and she noted that she still teaches as an adjunct professor at HKUST. She said young people learn quickly "when they're given the right tools and opportunities." Sandra Visscher of UNICEF Luxembourg said the partnership aims to make financial literacy practical, accessible and engaging.
Bitget joined the Game Changers Coalition in June 2025 under a three-year agreement with UNICEF Luxembourg. The coalition has since reached more than 642,000 young people, parents and teachers across eight countries. It plans to expand into Bolivia, Bangladesh and Indonesia in 2026, and its curriculum also covers artificial intelligence and video game development.
