Versan Aljarrah, founder of Black Swan Capitalist, is watching an intriguing sequence take shape. He sees Ripple draining XRP off the open market, activating XRPL accounts, expanding RLUSD’s reach, and positioning XRP and its payment system against SWIFT.
His conclusion: “Activity first. Valuation later.” That is the lens he is applying to everything Ripple is doing right now.
The Moves Aljarrah is Flagging
Each element he highlights is a distinct action. In his view, Ripple is removing XRP from open market circulation, activating accounts on the XRP Ledger, growing RLUSD as a regulated stablecoin, and competing directly with SWIFT for cross-border payment infrastructure. Aljarrah reads these together as a coordinated install, not isolated developments.
When he says “XRP is the inventory,” he is arguing that Ripple is accumulating the asset before public demand arrives. Supply tightens the open market while the network expands underneath.
The Institutional Context
In a video linked to his post, Aljarrah places this inside a much larger picture. He argues that institutions like the World Bank, the IMF, and the Bank for International Settlements have spent years writing policy for cross-border payments, settlement risk, and tokenized financial infrastructure. “They’re not waiting on what everybody else has to say about it,” he said. “They’re waiting on the conditions.”
In his analysis, those conditions include war, energy shocks, bond market stress, fragmented trade, and rising compliance costs across traditional banking. Aljarrah said these pressures create permission for a new financial system to roll out. He states it plainly: “That’s kind of where XRP comes in, plays out for the whole world.”
What This Means for XRP’s Price
Aljarrah separates activity from valuation deliberately. The moves he describes across XRPL, RLUSD, and Ripple’s competition with SWIFT build the foundation. This suggests that XRP’s price will reflect that foundation once adoption scales.
If his read is correct and Ripple is pulling XRP off the open market, available supply for retail participants shrinks. If institutional adoption of XRPL infrastructure grows alongside global payment reform, demand for XRP as a settlement asset rises. Both variables push in the same direction.
Aljarrah argues the setup is already progressing. The XRP Ledger’s activity and Ripple’s positioning are the signal worth tracking. His post captures the sequence Ripple is putting the activity first and expecting the valuation to follow.
