BlackRock, one of the world’s largest asset management companies, is witnessing continued outflows from its spot Bitcoin ETF, IBIT. According to SosoValue data, the fund experienced another net withdrawal on November 5, marking the fourth consecutive day of negative flows. The latest transaction resulted in a $104.97 million Bitcoin outflow from the fund.

Persistent Withdrawals Signal Market Volatility

Bitcoin underwent one of its most pronounced price reversals this month. The cryptocurrency fell from over $80,000 to as low as $75,114 within a 24-hour period. The latest data shows Bitcoin trading at $75,979.

Early signs of limited recovery seen at the beginning of the week proved fleeting. The market returned to selling pressure, pushing Bitcoin back into negative territory.

Bitcoin experienced the harshest price reversal of the month, dropping from over $80,000 to $75,114 in the past 24 hours.

Weakened Expectations for November Recovery

While market turbulence has persisted for weeks, the more pronounced sell-off over the past day has fostered a cautious sentiment among both individual and institutional investors. Expectations for a potential price recovery in November are beginning to fade.

The simultaneous outflows from BlackRock’s ETF and the rapid Bitcoin retreat are both occurring, suggesting that large investors are adopting a more defensive stance in the short term.
