“We are excited to officially announce Bolt Send in Owerri and give more people access to a convenient way to move packages around the city. From sending documents and personal items to delivering small business parcels, Bolt Send is designed to make everyday deliveries easier and more accessible. We also encourage users to follow the service guidelines so that every delivery is safe, seamless and reliable for everyone involved,” he said.
How Bolt Send works
Launched in Nigeria in 2023, Bolt Send enables users to request a courier through the Bolt app to pick up and deliver packages to a specified destination. The service is designed to make everyday deliveries simpler, whether users need to send personal items, documents or small business parcels.
To ensure a smooth and safe delivery experience, customers are encouraged to send appropriately packaged items such as documents, clothing, small gifts, forgotten personal items and small business parcels, while avoiding prohibited, hazardous, highly fragile or highly perishable items and keeping packages within the applicable 25kg weight and ₦50,000 value limits.
With its expansion to Owerri, Bolt Send continues to support the growing demand for convenient, on-demand delivery solutions across Nigeria, helping individuals and businesses move packages without the need to arrange transportation separately.

Users can access the service directly through the Bolt app, request a delivery and provide the pickup and drop-off details for their package.
Bolt encourages customers to properly package and seal their items and provide accurate pickup and drop-off details to help ensure a seamless experience for both customers and courier partners.
