BONKFLIP Goes Live in Telegram Group Chats
Bonk (@bonk_inu) has launched BONKFLIP, a coin flip game that runs natively inside Telegram. Players can go head-to-head against the house or drop the game directly into a group chat to challenge a friend, making it one of the more socially integrated crypto mini-games to appear on the platform.
The game connects to Solana-compatible wallets, handling staking, wagers, and payouts on-chain. Results settle on Solana's network rather than through a centralised intermediary, giving players a verifiable record of each outcome.
Another Product in a Growing BONK Ecosystem
BONKFLIP is the latest addition to a growing suite of Telegram-native products from the $BONK team. The Bonk core team has previously built BONKbot, a Telegram trading bot, along with BONK Swap, an automatic market maker, and bonk(.)fun, a token launchpad on Solana.
Bonk is a dog-themed meme coin that launched on Christmas Day 2022 following the FTX collapse, initially airdropped to Solana network developers and community members in an effort to revive the ecosystem. The project has since expanded well beyond its meme coin origins.
On the gaming front, Bonk previously launched Bonk Arena, a top-down arcade shooter developed by studio Bravo Ready, known for the Solana extraction shooter BR1: Infinite. BONKFLIP takes a lighter, more casual approach, targeting everyday Telegram users rather than dedicated gamers.
Bringing wager-based games into group chat environments lowers the barrier to entry considerably. Users already inside Telegram can participate without switching apps or navigating a separate platform, which could broaden the reach of on-chain gaming beyond the usual crypto-native audience.
