The latest update allows Bybit’s AI assistant to analyze users’ portfolios, trading behavior and risk preferences, delivering more tailored financial insights across the exchange’s ecosystem.

Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has introduced new personalization and long-term memory capabilities to Bybit AI, expanding its conversational assistant’s ability to deliver financial insights based on individual users’ portfolios, trading activity and investment preferences.

Announced on October 22, the update enables Bybit AI to build a more comprehensive understanding of each user’s financial profile, drawing on account information such as asset holdings, open positions, trading behavior and risk tolerance.

The development marks a shift from an AI assistant that responds to isolated queries toward one that can retain context across conversations and provide increasingly personalized financial guidance.

Bybit, which serves more than 80 million users worldwide, first introduced Bybit AI in September as an intelligent conversational interface designed to connect its financial services within a single platform.

From General AI Assistance to Personalized Financial Insights

With the latest update, Bybit AI can analyze account-specific information, subject to user permissions, to generate responses tailored to an individual’s financial circumstances.

Rather than relying solely on general market information, the assistant can incorporate a user’s existing portfolio, financial behavior and risk profile when responding to questions about trading and wealth management.

A key addition is long-term memory, which allows users to share preferences that the assistant can retain across future interactions. This means subsequent conversations can build on previously established financial goals and preferences without requiring users to repeatedly provide the same context.

The assistant also connects information across Bybit’s broader ecosystem, including its Markets, Trading, Earn and Card products.

By combining data from these services, Bybit aims to give users a more unified view of their financial activity, rather than limiting AI-generated insights to individual products or transactions.

New Features Aim to Simplify Wealth Management

Alongside personalization and memory, Bybit has introduced a feature called “Featured,” which provides predefined prompts for specific financial use cases.

The feature is designed to make more complex financial tasks accessible through guided conversations. For example, users can request a wealth management plan based on their current assets and risk tolerance, with Bybit AI generating structured analysis, relevant data, key insights and potential next steps.

The approach reflects a broader effort to reduce the complexity of navigating financial platforms, where users often need to switch between multiple tools to monitor investments, assess market opportunities and manage their portfolios.

Bybit AI supports operations through users’ main accounts, while also offering the option to deploy the assistant within a dedicated AI sub-account.

According to Bybit, the system operates within a permission-based security framework, with account instructions executed only after customer authorization. The company emphasizes that AI-generated outputs are intended for informational purposes and should not be considered investment advice.

AI Becomes a More Integrated Part of Crypto Trading

The launch comes as cryptocurrency platforms increasingly explore ways to integrate artificial intelligence into trading, portfolio management and financial services.

While AI-powered trading tools have traditionally focused on market analysis, price predictions and automated strategies, Bybit’s latest update places greater emphasis on personalized financial context and continuity between interactions.

The distinction is significant: instead of treating AI as a standalone analytical tool, the exchange is positioning conversational intelligence as a central interface through which users can interact with multiple financial products.

For users, the potential benefit lies in combining market information with account-specific context, allowing financial insights to reflect existing holdings and individual risk preferences.

However, the effectiveness of such systems will depend on the accuracy of their analysis, the reliability of their recommendations and how securely sensitive financial information is handled.

Bybit said it plans to introduce further updates as part of its longer-term strategy to develop AI-native financial services.

The company has increasingly positioned itself as a broader financial platform, bringing together cryptocurrency trading, investment products, payments and wealth management.

With the addition of personalization and persistent memory, Bybit is taking another step toward making AI a more integrated part of how users access and manage digital financial services.
