Bybit Users Can Now Buy Nvidia and Tesla
CryptoCompass editorial visual for markets coverage.

Bybit (@Bybit_Official) has added more than 1,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs to its platform, giving eligible customers access to crypto and traditional assets from a single account. The list includes Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, Micron Technology and the Invesco QQQ ETF.

The service is rolling out in stages and is not open to everyone. Access is limited to users in permitted jurisdictions who have completed know-your-customer verification, according to crypto(.)news.

How Bybit's stock trading works

Eligible users fund purchases with $USDC. Customers pay in USDC from their Unified Trading Account, while Alpaca handles settlement of the underlying securities, according to The Cryptonomist. Fractional shares are available on certain securities, which lets customers buy less than one full share.

Alpaca Securities executes the trades and holds the assets in custody. Alpaca is a US self-clearing broker-dealer, and the product is provided through Infra Capital Limited, an introducing broker regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius, according to crypto(.)news. Bybit says buyers receive an economic interest in the underlying securities, rather than derivative or synthetic price exposure.

Trading runs five days a week across US premarket, regular and after-hours sessions. Availability may vary by security, according to crypto(.)news. Voting rights are not available at launch. Bybit has said they are planned for a later phase, per TechFlow.

Fees and limits to note

Bybit advertises zero commissions on eligible stock trades. The Defiant reports the service carries a 0.1% fee on executed order value, with a minimum of 0.35 USDC per order, and that fractional purchases start at 5 USDC, according to Cryptonews.net's summary of The Cryptonomist report. Those figures are worth checking against Bybit's own terms before trading.

The shares cannot be transferred onchain or used in DeFi, which separates the product from tokenized xStocks offerings, according to The Cryptonomist. For crypto exchanges, the launch fits a wider push to offer traditional market exposure alongside digital assets. Bybit CEO Ben Zhou framed it as part of the company's move toward what it calls the New Financial Platform.

No trading volume or fee revenue data has been disclosed so far, according to Altcoin Buzz, so it is too early to judge demand.
