  • Cardano reviews CIP-0113 to separate programmable token custody from issuance and support regulatory compliance for tokens such as USDM and USDA.
  • CIP-0068 could receive revisions following a Cardano Foundation survey examining real-world NFT data published on the network.
  • ADA trades near $0.221, with support at 0.218–0.220 as RSI and MACD signal easing selling pressure without confirming a reversal.

Cardano is reviewing proposals covering token custody, real-world NFT data, and block producer software as ADA trades near $0.221. The latest update from COSD Cardano Stake Pool, associated with Robert Phair, outlines new and active proposals while ADA’s four-hour chart shows continued bearish pressure. Technical indicators, however, suggest selling momentum may be easing.

Cardano Reviews Token Custody and NFT Data

The active review period focuses on ecosystem issues affecting existing Cardano Improvement Proposals (CIPs). CIP-0113 addresses separating programmable custody from issuance, supporting existing Cardano native tokens and external minting and burning workflows.

The proposal also covers standardized processes for tokens such as USDM and USDA to meet regulatory requirements through the recently launched programmable tokens standard.

Meanwhile, CIP-0068 could receive a new version following a Cardano Foundation survey of real-world NFT data published on the network over several years. The supplied update identifies the proposal for consideration but does not detail the potential revisions.

New proposals also seek to provide more software details for each node type that produces blocks. Block Producer Payloads could become an extension to Block Producer Identifiers under candidate CIP-0203 or form a separate CIP.

ADA Faces Support Near $0.220 After Decline

ADA traded at $0.2210 on the four-hour Binance chart, with the latest candle recording a high of $0.2225 and a low of $0.2199. Trading volume stood at 7.32 million ADA.

After reaching approximately $0.280 on October 6, ADA reversed sharply and formed lower highs and lower lows. The decline accelerated around October 8, pushing the token from above $0.250 toward $0.2210. Recent candles show consolidation around $0.220.

Immediate support lies between $0.218 and $0.220. A break below that zone could expose $0.210 and $0.200, while resistance sits between $0.230 and $0.240, followed by $0.250.

Technical Indicators Show Early Momentum Changes

ADA’s Relative Strength Index is at 45.21, above its average of 39.07 but below the neutral 50 level. The MACD line is at -0.0035, above its -0.0040 signal line, with a positive histogram reading of 0.0005.

These readings indicate improving short-term momentum, although ADA remains below both moving averages and has yet to confirm a trend reversal.
