Cardano Price Prediction: Whales Buy As $0.18 Slides Back Into View
CryptoCompass editorial visual for markets coverage.

Cardano(ADA) has clawed back to roughly $0.164 after buyers defended $0.1535 last week, and large holders are adding coins as $0.18 comes into view.

Key Points:

  • ADA trades near $0.164 following a three-day bounce off the $0.1535 low printed Jul. 27.
  • Wallets holding 10 million to 100 million coins lifted their share of supply through the June selloff.
  • Resistance at $0.1751 sits between the current price and the $0.18 area that capped the last rally.

Cardano Price Rebounds From $0.1535 Support

Chart data published Wednesday shows ADA at $0.1638, about 6.7% above the swing low it printed two days earlier.

The token still trades roughly 18% under its July peak, and one daily-chart read treats the drop as a retracement into a Fibonacci band between $0.14 and $0.1567.

Three horizontal lines frame the current range, and the nearest is resistance at $0.1751, which has capped every advance this month. Support runs at $0.1488, then at $0.1424, the floor of the base that buyers built through late June. The 14-period RSI has recovered to 55.89 after sinking toward oversold readings during the Jul. 27 flush.

Whale Accumulation Meets Analyst Caution On ADA

Order size data points to heavier buying by large traders across both the spot and futures markets this week. Growing futures participation alongside spot demand suggests those accounts are adding exposure while the price sits on technical support.

Addresses holding 10 million to 100 million coins raised their share of circulating supply from 37.66% to 38.13% through the June selloff. Separate tracking counted more than 30 million ADA moving into whale wallets during a single week this month. Buying of that size helps explain why the June floor has held so far, though large holders rarely call the exact bottom.

Derivatives positioning cuts the other way, and the long-to-short ratio fell to 0.82 this week, its weakest reading in more than a month, while funding rates turned negative. Manish Chhetriplaced overhead resistance near $0.173, where the 23.6% Fibonacci level meets the 50-day exponential moving average, a cluster that sits just under the $0.1751 line.

Cardano Price Swings Since The July Peak

Cardano's month has turned on two failed pushes higher and one deep flush.

The token spiked to $0.200 on Jul. 5, then surrendered the entire advance inside 48 hours as sellers hit every bid on the way down. A second attempt on Jul. 23 stalled near $0.1805, and that lower high told traders sellers were stepping in earlier.

Price slid to $0.1535 on Jul. 27, a low that still sat above the base built in June, a month Cardano closed near $0.1453 after shedding close to 40% of its value. The network cleared its Van Rossem hard fork in mid-July, moving to protocol version 11, yet daily transactions fell to about 17,400 in late June, near a 45-day low.
