Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has announced plans to move key community discussions from X to dedicated Discord channels, signaling a significant change in how the ecosystem may handle governance and development conversations.
According to Hoskinson, the proposed transition is designed to create a more productive environment for community members while reducing distractions that often dominate public social media platforms. The initiative is being coordinated with EMURGO President Phillip Pon and would gradually relocate many day-to-day discussions to Discord.
While X will remain an important platform for announcements and livestream broadcasts, Hoskinson indicated that future Ask Me Anything sessions would take place through either the new Cardano Discord server or the existing Midnight Discord community. He argued that dedicated discussion spaces can help community members focus on meaningful collaboration instead of ongoing disputes that frequently consume attention on social media.
