@MyriadMarkets has officially launched its @FIFAWorldCup 2026 prediction markets, selecting @Chainlink as the exclusive oracle infrastructure responsible for real-time data orchestration and automated market settlement. The platform went live just 48 hours before the tournament's opening match in North America, offering zero trading fees from day one.
$100,000 Prize Pool and Zero Fees at Launch
To mark the debut, Myriad is running a $100,000 trading competition tied to the tournament. The prize pool awards $20,000, $10,000, and $5,000 to the top three traders, with $10,000 split among the remaining leaderboard and $5,000 in weekly rewards for top makers. With over 75 multi-binary markets at launch, the contest enables users to make predictions on every single match in the competition.
The move builds on Myriad's existing use of the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), which the platform already uses to run crypto price markets.CRE will handle market resolution and settlement for the tournament, replacing the slower, manual settlement methods used on some prediction platforms. Real-time sports data is supplied via Myriad's partner 55 Tech, with Chainlink oracles handling the final on-chain resolution of each market.
Chainlink's Role in Automated Settlement
According to William Reilly, Head of Strategic Initiatives at Chainlink Labs, the integration allows Myriad to deliver accurate resolutions, high-speed settlement, and instant payouts, while the tamper-proof auditability of Chainlink's blockchain-powered oracles will help reduce resolution disputes.
The Myriad launch comes as @Chainlink's oracle infrastructure gains broader traction across sports prediction platforms. ADI Predictstreet, the first-ever official prediction market partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026, has separately adopted Chainlink as its exclusive oracle infrastructure to power accurate market resolutions and unlock instant payouts. The 2026 FIFA World Cup spans 48 teams, 104 matches, and 16 host cities across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Earlier this year, Myriad closed a seed funding round with backers including MoonPay Ventures, Auros, EVG, Verda Ventures, and Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee, alongside earlier investors such as ConsenSys and HashKey Capital. The raise followed Myriad's launch on BNB Chain, as the platform builds toward its goal of embedding Myriad as a protocol.
