Blockchain trackers linked the address to a 6,000 BTC stash once considered inaccessible. The movement proves someone controls those coins. The Clifton Collins Bitcoin wallet belongs to a cluster associated with the convicted cannabis dealer. Collins reportedly bought roughly 6,000 BTC during 2011 and 2012 using criminal proceeds.

After his 2017 arrest, his landlord cleared the rented property and discarded many belongings. Collins later said the fishing rod case had disappeared before the clearance.
Irish investigators and Europol later recovered access to three 500 BTC wallets, totalling 1,500 BTC. Authorities confirmed those earlier recoveries but have not confirmed this latest transfer.
The latest wallet transfer reached Coinbase Prime, an institutional custody and execution platform. A deposit to the service can precede a sale, custody change or internal asset management.
Onchain data alone cannot establish which outcome followed. Coinbase Prime has not disclosed any related trade.
Separate tracking suggests 500 BTC movements from the cluster have now totaled 2,000 BTC during 2026. That figure includes the latest unconfirmed transfer.
Roughly 4,000 BTC may remain linked to other dormant addresses if the original 6,000 BTC estimate holds. Arkham continues labeling the addresses under Collins’s name, while investigators have not disclosed their key-recovery methods.
The stated transaction valuation implied a Bitcoin price near $79,120.
