In the cryptocurrency market, prominent tokens like XRP, Shiba Inu, Tron, and Solana are grappling with increased pressure, teetering near critical thresholds. Despite encountering notable selling pressure in recent weeks, declining trading volumes suggest that sellers have yet to gain strong momentum.

XRP Faces Persistent October Strains

XRP is currently trading at $1.2995. After a sharp rise from $1.00 to nearly $1.70 in August, a second attempt to climb in September failed at approximately $1.65, leading to an accelerated descent. This downturn has pulled XRP below both the 200-day moving average at $1.375 and the shorter-term average at $1.335. Other averages in the $1.38-$1.41 range remain above the price, dimming prospects for a swift recovery.

The region around $1.25 is now pivotal for determining XRP’s next moves.

Immediate support sits at $1.25, where buyers recently intervened last week. If this level breaks, targets could shift to $1.15 and the $1.07 area, which was significant in the summer. The RSI indicator hovers around 40, indicating weak momentum. However, its proximity to being oversold keeps the probability of a rebound alive.

Limited Appetite for SHIB Buys

Shiba Inu trades at $0.00000499, just near the $0.000005 threshold. Having failed to maintain its peak of $0.00000625 in September, the token’s bearish trend has become more pronounced. Attempts at rallies have repeatedly met resistance at the 200-day average of $0.00000560.

Since the start of October, SHIB has fallen below several short- and medium-term moving averages, turning the $0.00000526-$0.00000545 range into a strong resistance zone. Below, $0.00000480 stands out, where the price has twice bounced back in the past week. Should this support falter, the focus could shift to $0.00000440 and, potentially, the July low near $0.00000405.

Though selling pressure on SHIB is easing, significant buying demand remains elusive.

TRX and SOL Battle at Crucial Levels

Tron’s native token, TRX, is priced at $0.3314, known for its role in a blockchain ecosystem dedicated to smart contracts and digital asset transfers. After peaking at $0.375 in late May, TRX saw a sharp drop and has been constrained between $0.32 and $0.35 for months, with the 200-day average at $0.3285 acting as a key support. A breakdown below this could push prices towards $0.320 and $0.315.

Meanwhile, Solana is trading at $104.43. Following a rise towards $125 in September, October has seen a surge in selling pressure. Short-term averages provide resistance in the $106-$109 bracket, while the $98-$100 range offers strong support. Last week, prices rebounded after touching $100, yet failure to maintain this level could see a dip to $92 or $88.

Despite declining volumes indicating subdued selling pressure, cautiousness among buyers persists for both assets. Nonetheless, while Solana’s long-term outlook remains intact, the $98-$100 range is critical for near-term direction.
