A new Bitcoin transfer has been made from addresses reportedly linked to US President Donald Trump’s media company, Trump Media & Technology Group, to the cryptocurrency exchange CryptoCom.
According to on-chain analysis data, addresses associated with Trump Media transferred approximately 2,628 BTC, worth about $165 million, to CryptoCom.
The company was previously estimated to have purchased a total of 11,542 BTC at an average cost of $118,500. It is stated that approximately 7,281 BTC were withdrawn from these addresses in 2026, while approximately 4,261 BTC are still held in those addresses.
Trump Media’s total realized and unrealized losses from its Bitcoin investments are estimated to be approximately $555 million.
However, sending Bitcoins to a cryptocurrency exchange doesn’t necessarily mean the assets have been sold. The transfer could also have been for custody, liquidity management, or another financial transaction. However, this is currently impossible to determine, and transfers from cold wallets to centralized exchanges are generally considered to be for sale purposes.
