Crypto analyst Steph Is Crypto (@Steph_iscrypto) recently posted about Evernorth on X, flagging the company’s latest financing move.
Evernorth is a publicly traded digital asset treasury company built entirely around XRP, and its latest $80.7 million capital raise signals another step in an aggressive accumulation strategy.
The Cantor Deal
Evernorth has secured a committed equity financing arrangement with CF Principal Investments, an affiliate of Cantor Fitzgerald. SEC filings dated October 23 show the company has the right to sell up to approximately 5.219 million newly issued common shares in tranches.
Based on the October 22 closing price of $15.46 per share, the facility could generate up to approximately $80.7 million in gross proceeds. The funds are intended for general corporate purposes, including the purchase of XRP. Evernorth currently holds approximately 473 million XRP.
One clarification is worth noting. Steph Is Crypto’s post referenced 80 million XRP tokens, but XRP currently trades above $1. If Evernorth raises the full $80.7 million, it would purchase the XRP equivalent of that dollar amount, not 80 million tokens.
A Strategy Built Around Accumulation
Evernorth raises capital through equity, debt, or preferred stock and deploys the proceeds directly into XRP. The company purchases XRP through trading protocols designed to minimize slippage, keeping shareholder value as the priority. The Cantor deal fits that model exactly.
Evernorth has also been clear that it plans to raise capital repeatedly over time, returning to markets whenever conditions make it favorable for shareholders. This is a recurring strategy built into the company’s structure, not a standalone transaction.
Why This Supports XRP
Evernorth has been described as a MicroStrategy equivalent for XRP. Every capital raise Evernorth executes translates into institutional buying pressure on XRP. The company does not trade in and out. It accumulates and holds.
On top of direct purchases, Evernorth plans to generate yield on a portion of its XRP holdings through liquidity provisioning and DeFi strategies on the XRP Ledger. Those yields then fund further XRP acquisition. The structure creates a compounding accumulation cycle tied to XRP’s performance.
Ongoing Expansion
Evernorth provides investors with regulated, public-market exposure to XRP through its stock, ticker XRPN, listed on Nasdaq. This opens XRP exposure to a category of investors who cannot or do not hold crypto directly.
Evernorth’s strategy positions XRP as the core asset of an actively managed institutional treasury. Each financing round adds to that position. The Cantor deal is the latest move in a strategy the company has committed to in its public filings and intends to repeat.
