An XRP chart shared by crypto analyst BankXRP (@BankXRP) caught the attention of traders across X. It showed XRP had already moved 59% from its breakout area. The setup had been visible for days. Those who acted on it early are now sitting on significant gains.
The Move Analysts Were Watching
BankXRP posted a TradingView chart on August 22 showing XRP had risen approximately 59% from its breakout area, with the token trading at $1.5638 at the time of the analysis. The post noted, “those who positioned early are now seeing it play out,” crediting structure over short-term price action.
Shortly after the post, one commenter reported that the move had extended further, with XRP reaching 66%. The asset hit a multi-month peak of $1.68, but has pulled back slightly to $1.53.
Washington Steps In
The regulatory picture shifted significantly on August 19. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse joined President Donald Trump at the White House alongside SEC Chair Paul Atkins, CFTC Chair Mike Selig, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong. The meeting focused on digital asset policy and the future of U.S. crypto regulation.
Trump publicly called on Congress to pass the CLARITY Act. The bill would establish a federal regulatory framework for digital assets and settle whether cryptocurrencies fall under securities or commodities law. It passed the House in 2025 and now awaits a procedural Senate vote scheduled for September 15. The bill needs 60 votes to advance.
Garlinghouse noted that 67 million Americans now hold crypto, nearly 1 in 4, and called regulatory certainty a catalyst for adoption and institutional participation.
Additional Bullish Catalysts
Spot XRP ETFs added to the momentum. The products recorded $5.81 million in inflows on August 18, the strongest single-day figure since July 31. The funds collectively hold roughly 1.5% of XRP’s total supply.
Ripple also confirmed a partnership with Jeonbuk Bank to launch Ripple Payments in South Korea, to foster faster cross-border remittances for businesses. Together, these developments add institutional weight and tangible utility to XRP’s current momentum.
Will XRP Keep Climbing?
BankXRP’s post stressed watching structure over individual candles, and the chart validated it. The 59% move from the breakout area was visible to anyone tracking price behavior carefully. Those who saw the structure bought early and are seeing profit. Positioning early, based on structure, is what separates prepared traders from reactive ones.
