Elon Musk Responds as ICE Plans a U.S. Futures Market

Stan Druckenmiller tweeted on October 29, 2026, that he is excited to invest in Trade[XYZ] and anticipates using its product in his investment process. Elon Musk replied “Interesting” to that statement on X. However, the proposed market still requires CFTC approval.

The planned contracts would run around the clock, including periods when traditional markets close. Trade[XYZ] said its existing markets provide continuous price discovery across stocks, indices, and commodities.

The proposed U.S. offering would use dedicated exchange and clearing infrastructure built on Hyperliquid, and the native native HYPE crypto price also reflects market interest in the ecosystem.

Under the announced structure, Hyperliquid would supply infrastructure through HIP-3, while Trade[XYZ] would design and implement markets. ICE would operate the regulated market and clearing structure. Planned contracts cover equities, indices, commodities, foreign exchange, and crypto.

Participants would access the U.S. market through participating brokers and platforms, according to Trade[XYZ].

The company said product details, eligibility, and timing would follow as approvals progress. ICE also plans a strategic investment in the perpetuals platform, alongside Druckenmiller’s participation.

Meanwhile, Trade[XYZ] said its Hyperliquid market surpassed $650 billion in volume within just over a year. Its existing HIP-3 markets will remain unchanged under the announced arrangement. The company plans to develop the U.S. market alongside those operations.

Hyperliquid described its role as a neutral infrastructure layer, with deployers retaining control and responsibility for their markets. It said HIP-3 operators would remain independent, as existing HIP-3 deployers do. ICE operates the NYSE and other exchanges and clearing houses.

HYPE Crypto Price Rebound Puts $100.50 Chart Target in Focus

Separately, Aksel Kibar’s daily KuCoin HYPE/USDT chart showed a rebound from support near $76.60. The chart displayed $91.05, with a $100.50 target approximately 10.4% higher. Earlier peaks around $95 marked the next visible resistance area.

Kibar had previously identified the area as an inflection point and highlighted the possibility of a rebound. The chart placed horizontal support near the intersection with a rising trendline connecting several lows. Price had previously broken above $76.60 and then returned to test that level.

The subsequent rebound showed that former resistance acted as support on the supplied chart. However, a move beyond recent highs would strengthen the chart’s case for a test of $100.50. That level remains a projection, and the chart provides no volume data to assess participation.

For the HYPE crypto price, the lower marked support levels are $52.70 and $44.80. Those levels become relevant if the price breaks below $76.60 and the rising trendline.
