Hyperliquid price stood at $85.96 at press time, putting Michaël van de Poppe’s $116 target about 35% above the market. The analyst expects HYPE to move past $100 and would consider buying a pullback to 80–84. Altcoin Sherpa, who had also been watching for a run to $100, said Bitcoin’s recent trading had weakened his confidence in that call.
Hyperliquid Price Has a $100 Hurdle Before the $116 Target
Van de Poppe compared the recent move with HYPE’s August rally. In both cases, he said, the token briefly fell below a recent low, rebounded and then cleared earlier highs. He interprets the current pause as consolidation after that advance.

Reaching $100 would require a gain of about 16%. Van de Poppe’s next target is 112–116, or roughly 30%–35% above $85.96. Altcoin Sherpa still rates the project highly but expressed less conviction about the timing of a recovery.

Hyperliquid’s fee documentation explains the link to supply: the assistance fund converts trading fees into HYPE, and the tokens it holds are burned. For the Hyperliquid price outlook, the open question is how much buying those fees can fund if trading slows. Hyperliquid Docs
Onur reported 833,000 HYPE burned and put cumulative burns near 50 million tokens. By his estimate, that represents about 5% of the token’s original supply.
