The Internet Computer ($ICP) has climbed to second place globally in on-chain activity, according to real-time data from Chainspect, processing 133 million transactions in a single 24-hour window and sustaining an average throughput of 1,538 transactions per second with instant finality.
Those figures put $ICP ahead of well-established networks including $BNB and TRON on the Chainspect leaderboard. The performance is consistent with a broader pattern of strong activity on the network. According to Chainspect's real-time tracker, Internet Computer has averaged throughput that more than doubles several competing Layer-1 networks.The network splits its workload across more than 49 subnets, each running an independent consensus, allowing the chain to scale horizontally rather than through a single execution layer.
