Infosys has partnered with Chainlink to standardize the adoption of Chainlink’s platform across its banking and payments operations. Announcing the collaboration on September 22, Chainlink outlined that the Indian IT giant, listed on the NYSE as INFY, manages systems that impact more than 1.7 billion customer accounts worldwide.

This strategic agreement covers a comprehensive range of Chainlink services. Infosys will integrate Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) alongside the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE). The partnership will also include the Automated Compliance Engine (ACE), Proof of Reserve, Data Feeds, and Data Streams.

CCIP enables the transfer of data and assets across different blockchains, while CRE manages onchain and offchain workflows incorporating connections to networks, APIs, and computation from external sources. ACE focuses on compliance controls, ensuring solutions meet regulatory and risk standards.

Proof of Reserve automates audits of reserves for stablecoins and tokenized assets, providing real-time verification. Data Feeds and Data Streams deliver essential market and external data directly onto the blockchain. These tools are positioned as critical infrastructure for banking and payment workflows that demand reliable, cross-network solutions.

By offering products such as CCIP, Proof of Reserve, and automated data streams, Chainlink aims to help clients execute cross-border settlements and enhance transparency for tokenized assets across a range of networks and financial environments.

No immediate launch timeline or specific partners disclosed

Neither Infosys nor Chainlink specified which banks, payment networks, or tokenized asset projects will initially use the integrated services. Details concerning commercial agreements, implementation timelines, and the first rollout have not been provided at this stage.

The cited figure of 1.7 billion relates to Infosys’s reach in the global banking and payments sector, rather than the number of customers expected to use the new Chainlink-backed solutions directly.

In a recent statement, Chainlink noted that Infosys supports mission-critical infrastructure for major banking and payments clients worldwide, highlighting its extensive influence in the industry.

Infosys supports essential banking and payments infrastructure that serves more than 1.7 billion customer accounts globally, reinforcing the potential scope of this collaboration with Chainlink.

The Infosys partnership comes shortly after Chainlink finalized a deal with Bottomline, a leading provider of Swift services handling over $16 trillion annually for more than 600 banks. The Bottomline integration allows banks to settle cross-border transactions onchain while sending standard Swift messages, illustrating a growing trend in onchain settlement solutions within the legacy financial system.

Chainlink’s recent achievements also include a $400 million tokenized fund launched with Amundi and Spiko in 2026. These developments underline Chainlink’s expanding presence among top financial service providers, offering tools to integrate decentralized protocols within established banking frameworks.

Given the increasing complexity and demand for seamless cross-chain operations, market participants are paying close attention to both price and timing strategies, especially in sectors like meme tokens where trends can move rapidly. In the meme token market, an internet trend can transform into millions of dollars of interest within days. According to data shared by Fomo App, a trade involving “Niu Lai”—which turned an initial $99 investment into approximately $370,000, stands out as a striking example of this activity. In this market, tracking not only prices but also the timing and token choices of investors is crucial. Fomo App brings token discovery and trading together on a single platform, featuring social feeds, investor rankings, and trade notifications. As Infosys moves forward to integrate Chainlink’s full suite of products, both companies signal an intent to modernize banking and payments infrastructure on a global scale, leveraging blockchain technology to support evolving industry needs.
