Injective Foundation Unveils the Trench Treasury
The Injective Foundation has launched the Trench Treasury, a new fund designed to directly support projects building around INJ and to reward community members who have backed the Injective ecosystem. The initiative supports INJ-based projects and rewards community members, operating under two core mandates: backing teams that build with INJ and developing reward programs for their supporters.
The Injective Foundation announced the launch of Trench Treasury as a new ecosystem support program centred on INJ token projects, aiming to support builders and reward community members who actively contribute. The move signals a more structured approach to developer relations, putting formal backing behind projects that align with the network's long-term goals.
What Projects Need to Qualify
The foundation has set clear eligibility criteria rather than leaving selection open-ended. Selection will consider fair launches, organic holder distribution, real liquidity, sustained activity, and innovative value accrual mechanisms. Teams are expected to place INJ at the centre of their product rather than treating it as an afterthought.
The foundation wants real liquidity and an active community, a fair launch with no oversized team allocation, and a clear way for the technology to accrue value. The criteria reflect a broader push across the crypto industry toward rewarding genuine, organic growth over short-term speculation.
The treasury also has a community-facing component. Beyond direct project support, it will open reward mechanisms for users who have already backed qualifying ecosystem projects, giving long-standing community participants a stake in the program's success.
Fund size, payouts, and how to apply have not been announced yet. Further details on specific treasury programs are expected in the coming weeks.
