Injective's native token, $INJ, can now be traded through X, according to reports from @MSBIntel and the official @injective account. The service relies on integrations with @Coinbase, @Kraken and several other centralised exchanges (CEXs).
How INJ trading on X works
The feature runs through X's Cashtag Partner Program. TechJuice reports that users tap a Cashtag, a dollar-prefixed ticker such as $BTC, to see price data and related posts. A new "Trade" button then routes them to their chosen partner platform.
The mechanism matters. According to Parameter, X acts only as a connector and does not facilitate trades or store user funds. All transactions are processed by the third-party brokerages and exchanges. In practice, $INJ is tradable from within X's interface, but orders are executed on partner platforms.
Crypto Briefing notes that the program's launch partners for crypto are Coinbase, Gemini and Kraken, with Interactive Brokers and Moomoo covering equities. Coingabbar's review of the Injective announcement says $INJ trading on X now routes to Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Moomoo and Webull. It stresses that this is a link program rather than five new exchange listings.
Limits and context
The rollout is currently restricted to the United States. Blockonomi reports that no timeline has been announced for international expansion. Users who tap through can sign in to an existing account or open a new one on the partner platform.
For Injective, the move adds a distribution channel inside a large social network. Injective is a layer-one blockchain built for decentralised finance (DeFi) applications, including decentralised exchanges, prediction markets and lending protocols, according to Coinbase. Access through X does not change the token's underlying market structure, but it shortens the path from discussion to trade for US users.
The original post described the Injective ecosystem as being on an "absolute tear". That is a characterisation from the source, and the integration itself does not prove it. Readers should check live INJ prices and volumes on a reputable data provider before drawing conclusions.
