InterLink Could Restrict Accounts Before ITLG Mainnet

InterLink (@inter_link) is tightening identity checks ahead of $ITLG Mainnet KYC, as the human-verified blockchain network works to remove bots and duplicate profiles before its next phase.

The network is strengthening AI-powered identity checks and liveness detection to catch bots, duplicate profiles and KYC manipulation. Suspicious accounts may face further review. InterLink says confirmed violations could lead to account restrictions or lost reward eligibility.

InterLink Network describes itself as a decentralized infrastructure built around a global Human Network. According to its whitepaper, users verify their identity through face scanning and liveness detection, then become Human Nodes. The project says this binds each identity to a real person, which is intended to provide resistance to Sybil attacks, where one person operates many fake accounts.

That model makes account integrity central to how rewards are distributed. Crypto data provider Plisio notes that the app's liveness check is designed to defeat photo, video and deepfake spoofing, and that users re-verify roughly every four hours to stay active. Those re-verifications also accrue ITLG points, which are due to convert into tokens at the eventual token generation event.

The same source adds a caveat on the project's claims. It says no public NIST Face Recognition Vendor Test entry for an InterLink submission has surfaced, and that the project's NIST framing should be treated as aspirational rather than certified.

KYC and the path to mainnet

KYC is already a gating factor for the network's token plans. Coingabbar reported that the project confirmed KYC remains mandatory for direct migration from ITLG into ITL, and that all tokens entering its Private Mainnet ecosystem must pass AML and compliance checks. The same report lists reported KYC delays and unconfirmed exchange listing timelines among the risks for holders.

InterLink has also been scaling verification capacity. Coingabbar's coverage of the network's upgrades states that the Human Network has crossed 7 million users, which lengthened verification queues ahead of the mainnet and the $ITL listing.

For users, the practical message is that accounts flagged during the stricter review may not reach mainnet rewards. Participants who want to remain eligible should ensure their profiles follow the verification rules. InterLink has not detailed how many accounts could be affected or when the review will conclude.
