InterLink Adds Native Livestreaming With Built-In Token Tipping
@Inter_link has unveiled InterLink Livestream, a new feature that lets content creators connect their broadcast feed directly to the InterLink platform. The addition brings native video viewing, social engagement tools, and in-app financial contributions into a single experience, allowing viewers to tip streamers using $ITL tokens without switching to another app or wallet.
The move is a notable step for a platform that has been building toward what it describes as an "Economic OS," a unified environment where identity, payments, and social activity converge on-chain. By keeping tipping and engagement native to the app, InterLink removes friction that typically pushes users toward third-party payment rails.
Platform Context: A Growing Human-Centric Ecosystem
The livestream feature lands as InterLink continues to expand its broader ecosystem. The network has scaled to more than 5 million real users, 3 million daily active Human Nodes, and 3,500 ambassadors across 131 countries. The project operates a dual-token model: ITLG as the main governance and utility token with a fixed 10 billion supply, and $ITL as the secondary token designated for external payments, liquidity, and treasury purposes.
InterLink Network is a human-centric blockchain project focused on secure digital identity, privacy-preserving applications, and decentralized economic coordination, aiming to create the world's largest real human network within the Web3 ecosystem. The introduction of a livestream product with native $ITL tipping fits squarely into that thesis, giving verified human users a direct economic layer on top of social content.
The app ecosystem may help the network move beyond a single-token launch narrative, as social, gaming, AI, and finance applications can create genuine use cases if they generate real activity. A live-streaming product with integrated token payments is exactly the kind of feature that could drive that activity.
InterLink has not yet detailed a formal rollout timeline for the livestream feature beyond its announcement.
