InterLink has opened a 30-day know-your-customer (KYC) campaign for $ITLG, the verification step users must complete before their in-app balance can become transferable tokens. The project, run by InterLink Labs (@inter_link), is urging users to complete the process carefully and not to wait until the final days.
Each user has one submission attempt for the entire campaign, so any errors in the submitted information cannot be fixed with a second try. Users are advised to read the instructions closely and confirm that all details are accurate before sending. A final data snapshot will determine each user's ITLG allocation, which will be distributed in line with the official roadmap.
According to CoinGabbar, the ITLG KYC portal lists November 2 as the opening date and outlines three steps: check your ITLG, complete a quick identity check, and receive transferable ITLG in your own wallet. Users who have already passed KYC Level 1 or higher in the app can skip the photo step, the report says, citing the portal.
CoinGabbar also notes that the announcement does not give an exact closing date for the 30-day window, and that final account metrics at the time a profile is processed will shape each allocation. Users who pass Level 1 receive a sponsor code, and sponsored friends may see faster verification and potentially higher transferable allocations, depending on account metrics, the outlet reports.
ITLG, short for InterLink Genesis Token, is described by InterLink as the participation and governance token at the core of its network, designed for verified Human Nodes. Under the project's dual-token model, ITLG sits on the user side, while $ITL is aimed at institutions and partners, according to the InterLink Labs blog.
The project has said staking is planned once transferable ITLG becomes available. Under the proposed mechanism, a randomly selected portion of staked ITLG may be upgraded into vITLG, which will be non-transferable, according to a KuCoin Square post summarising the plans.
The same post warns that unofficial ITLG markets may appear as transferability approaches, and that prices quoted on them are not recognised by the project's Core Team. Users should confirm instructions through official InterLink channels and treat unofficial markets and price claims with caution.
