Predict(.)fun (@predictdotfun) has announced $PREDICT, the native token of its prediction market platform, designed to reward traders, liquidity providers and community contributors. The project has set a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens, with 7% earmarked for the Season One airdrop.
How the Season One airdrop works
The airdrop covers 70 million PREDICT, or 7% of total supply. It comes from the ecosystem and community pool. The claim date is expected alongside the final Season One points results within 24 hours, according to the project.
Eligible users face a choice. Recipients can take an immediate claim of 35% or a 12-month vesting option that releases the full allocation. Users who pick vesting can switch to an instant claim during the first month after the token generation event (TGE).
Whether the airdrop is larger than expected will depend on how many points holders qualify and how the final results are distributed, details the project has yet to publish.
Token allocation and unlock schedule
Beyond the airdrop, early backers receive 26.05%, core contributors 10%, the treasury 8% and liquidity 4%. The project says PREDICT will reward activity such as trading, providing liquidity and community participation. Most of the remaining supply goes to the ecosystem and community pool, though published figures for that share vary slightly between outlets (50.95% in some reports, 51.95% in others).
Only 16% of supply will unlock at TGE. That equals 160 million tokens. Early backers and core contributors face a 24-month cliff, followed by monthly vesting over three years. Their allocations remain fully locked at launch, and the full supply unlocks within five years.
For context, Predict(.)fun is built on BNB Chain and lets users speculate on real-world outcomes such as crypto prices, sports events and global developments. It is backed by YZi Labs and was founded by dingaling.
Predict(.)fun also warned users to trust only its verified social accounts and Discord for official updates, a standard precaution around airdrops, when phishing attempts tend to rise.
