Kaspa is back at an important technical area after giving back part of its recent recovery, but analyst Cade O’Neill believes the chart is becoming increasingly bullish.
KAS is trading near $0.036 in the chart shared by O’Neill. Price recently pushed as high as roughly $0.047-$0.050 before pulling back toward a descending trendline that had capped the Kaspa price for months.
His thesis is simple: that old resistance may now be turning into support.
“KASPA chart is getting more and more bullish,” O’Neill wrote, adding that KAS is currently retesting the downtrend it broke in September.
Why This Kaspa Retest Is Important
The descending line on O’Neill’s chart begins around $0.13 and connects a long sequence of lower highs.
The Kaspa price spent months beneath that resistance before eventually pushing through it. The current pullback has now taken price almost directly back to the same line around $0.035-$0.036.
That creates a classic resistance-to-support test.

If buyers defend the area and KAS begins forming higher lows, the September move becomes much more credible. I would first watch roughly $0.040-$0.042, followed by the recent high around $0.047-$0.050.
A clean move above $0.05 would be far more meaningful because it would finally take price beyond the recent recovery peak.
The opposite scenario is straightforward. If KAS falls back underneath the descending line and cannot reclaim it, the apparent trend change risks becoming a failed move. The $0.030-$0.032 region would then become relevant again, followed by the recent lows around $0.025-$0.028.

Kaspa Development Continues Despite Weak Price Action
The technical setup is developing alongside continued work on Kaspa itself.
The Toccata upgrade activated on mainnet on June 30, adding covenants, cryptographic proof verification and new programmability features to Kaspa’s base layer. More advanced vProgs remain under development.
There has also been fresh progress in October. Kaspa’s proposed KCC-20 fungible-token standard has moved into final review, and developers recently demonstrated a testnet proof of concept for private KAS transactions. The privacy work remains experimental and unaudited, so it should not be treated as a production feature yet.
Rusty Kaspa development is progressing too, with recent changes aimed at reducing disk writes for node operators and improving wallet synchronization, although those changes had not yet reached a formal release when reported.
None of these developments guarantees higher KAS prices.
For the short term, the chart is much simpler: I would watch whether $0.035-$0.036 behaves like support. If it does, $0.05 becomes the level KAS needs to defeat before a larger bullish move becomes convincing.
