After experiencing a significant market rally at the beginning of the year, Hyperliquid (HYPE) is entering its first notable downturn. The asset recently aimed for the $75-$76 zone but retreated to a pivotal support point at $58, hovering just above the 100-day exponential moving average (EMA) at $57. This level has been a consistent support during previous upward trends.

Can HYPE Maintain Its Critical Support?

HYPE’s current position puts it to the test against the 100-day EMA, crucial for its short-term forecast. If this level is defended by buyers, the broader trend might persist upward, though technical signals are dimming. Recent daily price patterns reveal declining highs since June’s peak, with the relative strength index (RSI) nearing 40. Meanwhile, the 20-day EMA is trending downward.

Volume has dramatically decreased from its earlier high, indicating waning investor interest. Despite this, long-term metrics remain optimistic for a bullish scenario.

Is NEAR Poised for Greater Stability?

The NEAR Protocol is showcasing relative strength compared to volatile peers like HYPE. NEAR has stayed above critical time-based indicators for weeks, currently resting just above its 100-day EMA at $1.87. This range offers robust support, though the 50-day EMA at $2.02 still acts as a formidable barrier to recovery.

Market equilibrium is reflected in its RSI of 45. The sideways movement in July signals an ongoing struggle for control between buyers and sellers. Yet, NEAR’s upward climb from earlier lows remains intact.

  • HYPE is near a pivotal level, with potential renewed attempt territory around $65-$70.
  • NEAR’s critical threshold lies at the $2.00 mark, with a successful breach possibly paving the way to $2.30-$2.50.
  • SHIB and DOGE are still confined by their respective resistance levels and continue to show bearish tendencies.
  • Volume shifts indicate reduced selling pressures for SHIB, despite its current consolidation.
  • DOGE maintains a sluggish pace but holds its main support line at $0.07, with projections dependent on breaking past its moving averages.

Both Shiba Inu and Dogecoin present a technically weak front. SHIB remains under heavy resistance, with failed attempts for higher recoveries since mid-year. While its RSI suggests a stabilization, the market for SHIB remains in a consolidation phase with potential bearish extensions.

Though Dogecoin mirrors SHIB’s trend, it shows slightly higher stability. With a current price of $0.072, DOGE stands below major averages, highlighting a stringent resistance stack. To overturn this trend, crucial levels above the 20- and 50-day EMAs must be reached. The future direction for these assets hinges on forthcoming market movements and investor sentiment shifts.
