South Korean financial conglomerate Mirae Asset has unveiled an ambitious plan to build a 150 trillion won ($109 billion) digital asset business centred on Digital X, the crypto exchange formerly known as Korbit, according to a report by The Korea Times.
Digital X will focus on four core verticals: cryptocurrency trading, stablecoins, real-world assets, and security token offerings. The platform also intends to tokenize physical commodities, with gold, silver, and electricity cited as specific targets.
