MoonPay Brings AI Crypto Trading to Telegram
Highlights
It has been assured that it supports MoonAgents on Telegram.
The AI-driven crypto agent is available to the user through the chat application.
It involves setting up a bot by using BotFather and connecting it to the MoonAgents software on your desktop.
The integration allows you to carry out different activities related to crypto.
User data will be kept on the user’s personal computer, while the communication interface app will act as the medium of the application.
Like OpenClaw and Hermes Agent, MoonAgents has Telegram as its interface, which allows users to work with their AI agent. Arifin mentioned that users would build their own bots using BotFather and then link them to the Agents desktop application, asking the agent to perform market analysis, process transactions, and track the blockchain. (Disclaimer: MoonPay Ventures invests in Dastan, Decrypt’s parent company.)
Summary
As per MoonPay’s Arifin, the move had nothing to do with Telegram’s popularity among the crypto community.
On Thursday, MoonPay introduced MoonPay Agents for Telegram, making the company’s artificial intelligence crypto assistant available via the messaging application.
The users can use the Agents to perform market analysis, make dashboards, and process transactions in natural language conversations.
It explains that the communication interface app is just an interface, while all user data and private keys stay on their computers.
With the help of AI-infused cryptocurrency services on a communication interface app, it is aligning itself with a new platform that lies in the confluence of messaging, artificial intelligence, and digital assets management.
To start up, users need to first make a bot via BotFather, which is an official communication interface tool for making bots. The bot makes an API token to identify itself. Users then connect their bot with the Agents Desktop Application, which acts as a backend for the AI agent.
