NEAR Protocol's Intents platform posted a new all-time high of $223.9 million in daily swap volume on June 8, according to MSB Intel, with the protocol also recording more than 550,000 unique users over the preceding 30 days.
What Is NEAR Intents?
NEAR Intents is a multichain trading protocol built on NEAR Protocol where users specify a desired outcome and competing solvers handle the cross-chain execution, whether that is a swap, a bridge transfer, or an AI agent settling a task. The system removes the need for users to manually manage bridging, gas fees, or intermediate steps across networks. It currently integrates with anywhere from 25 to more than 70 chains and assets, routing liquidity across a wide range of blockchain networks.
Rapid Growth Across 2026
The June 8 daily volume record is the latest marker in a broader growth trajectory for the protocol. NEAR Intents hit $5 billion in cumulative volume in November 2025 and had doubled that to $10 billion by January 2026. The platform has since crossed the $20 billion mark in cumulative transaction volume, a milestone announced on June 3, capping a growth trajectory that saw it hit $19 billion by late May 2026.
The cross-chain execution layer has processed over 25 million swaps across dozens of blockchain networks, generating roughly $32 million in cumulative fees. Recent monthly volumes have frequently exceeded $2 billion to $3.6 billion.
Going from $5 billion in November 2025 to $10 billion in January 2026 was notable. Doing another $10 billion in roughly four months suggests the growth curve is steepening, not flattening. The user count of more than 550,000 unique addresses over 30 days signals that adoption is broadening, not just deepening among existing participants.
NEAR Intents is an intent-based, chain abstraction stack developed by the team behind NEAR Protocol and was highlighted in a 2025 retrospective on the near(.)org blog as the fastest-growing cross-chain infrastructure, with 28 chains integrated and notable partnerships with key wallets, networks, and protocols.
