NEAR Protocol (NEAR) is currently trading within the $3.46 range, registering a 27% gain in value, with its volume hitting $1.916 billion. Also, the 24-hour range ran from $2.71 to $3.56, and the fact that the price surged through the key $2.65 resistance.
Significantly, the move has already reclaimed the $3.20 area. Bulls are firmly in control, and momentum remains strongly bullish heading into the next resistance zone.
What’s Driving the Price Move?
Two major announcements landed alongside the price action. NEAR has launched confidential perpetual futures on near.com, with execution running on Hyperliquid. The key differentiator is not just private positions; it’s private funding and wallet attribution.
In addition, traders can now access 50+ perps with up to 40x leverage while NEAR Intents handles the funding route, making it considerably harder to link deposit activity back to a wallet identity. On transparent perp platforms, large wallets become strategy leaks.
Furthermore, QTC from Quantus Network will launch on near.com as the first post-quantum asset available through the platform, another signal that NEAR is building for long-term infrastructure relevance.
Co-Founder Illia also reaffirmed NEAR’s core vision: AI as the frontend, blockchain as the backend, with NEAR Intents already routing $30 billion across the onchain ecosystem.
NEAR’s Key Support and Resistance Levels
Support: $3.10–$3.20 could be the immediate floor to defend on any pullback. Notably, a zone below the $2.85 level is the next crucial support for NEAR.
Resistance: $3.65 is the first resistance mark to clear. Above that, the range of $3.85–$4.00 becomes the next major area to hit if the asset’s momentum holds.
NEAR Protocol Indicators Flash Strength
The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) line and the signal line of NEAR Protocol sit above the zero line, in a strong macro uptrend. The upper territory signals that the short-term bullish momentum is accelerating within that existing uptrend.
This crossover confirms strong buying pressure, indicating that buyers are in firm control and driving prices higher. Traders view this as a high-probability buy signal. However, because both lines are elevated above zero, it is essential to watch for overbought conditions.

NEAR’s daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) is positioned at 83.97 places the momentum in extreme overbought territory. This suggests that the buyers have driven an exceptionally powerful rally, generating intense upward momentum over recent sessions.
However, this serves as a warning that the move is severely overextended in the short term. Traders view this level as a high-risk zone for opening new long positions. While prices can continue surging during strong runs, it signals an increased probability of consolidation.
