Real-world asset tokenization platform Ondo Finance has launched a new offchain execution network, marking an apparent departure from the institution-focused layer-1 blockchain the company unveiled in February 2025.
Announced on Monday, Ondo Network processes trades outside of public blockchains and is already live on Ondo Perps, the company’s perpetual futures trading platform. Final transfers are settled on public blockchains, though Ondo did not name the specific chains being used.
