Ondo Finance — ONDO, dropped sharply as a leadership dispute shook confidence around Ondo Finance. The token traded near $0.35 after losing roughly 5% to 8%. Traders also watched growing uncertainty around the U.S. CLARITY Act. The proposed legislation could influence rules for digital assets and tokenized assets. That combination has created fresh pressure around ONDO. Investors now face corporate uncertainty alongside a difficult technical setup. The next few trading sessions could prove crucial for ONDO’s price direction.

Ondo Finance Faces Leadership Dispute
The leadership dispute followed the death of Ondo Finance founder Nathan Allman. Allman died in May, according to Delaware court filings. The documents reveal a disagreement over control of the company. Allman’s estate has challenged actions taken by CEO Ian De Bode after the founder’s death. The estate claims Allman controlled the company when he died. The estate also says Allman served as sole director and CEO.
His voting rights later passed to his estate. Kathleen Allman became the personal representative after probate proceedings ended June 26. According to the filings, De Bode assumed the CEO position after Allman died. The estate argues that De Bode lacked proper board approval. The estate also claims Ondo’s bylaws required board action for a CEO appointment.
De Bode strongly disputes those claims and called the allegations “meritless.” He also described the lawsuit as “regretful” and argued against the broader dispute. De Bode said the lawsuit does not benefit Ondo Finance, shareholders, employees, or the wider ecosystem. The court has not ruled on the allegations, leaving the dispute unresolved.
ONDO Price Breaks Key Support as Pressure Builds
ONDO traded near $0.3513 after another sharp decline. The token recently lost support around the $0.37 level, which supported the July recovery. Technical weakness has also become more visible across the ONDO chart. The token broke below an ascending trendline that supported price action from the mid-July low.
ONDO reached around $0.305 during that earlier decline before buyers pushed the token higher. However, momentum weakened near the $0.42 resistance zone. The failure to clear that barrier created another lower high and allowed sellers to regain control. The $0.35 level now represents immediate support for ONDO. A decisive break below that area could expose the $0.33 to $0.325 range.
Further weakness could then send the token toward the $0.31 to $0.305 region. Such a move would bring ONDO close to the July low and weaken the recovery structure. Traders may therefore watch the $0.35 level closely during upcoming sessions. A recovery above $0.37 could provide the first sign of stabilization. Buyers would then need to reclaim $0.40 before a stronger recovery takes shape.
