Arc Portal is now live on @arc, serving as the primary user-facing entry point to Circle's new blockchain. Circle Internet Group launched Arc, an open Layer 1 blockchain purpose-built for financial markets, real-time money movement, and agentic economic activity, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

The portal gives users a single hub to create or fund wallets, swap $USDC for cirBTC (Circle's wrapped Bitcoin), and earn yield through @Morpho. Circle says cirBTC can be converted 1:1 from BTC, cbBTC, or WBTC without conversion fees and is designed for collateral and liquidity applications. Every transaction fee on Arc is paid in $USDC rather than a volatile native token, a deliberate design choice aimed at cost predictability for institutions and developers.

AI Wallets and Yield: What the Portal Covers

Arc Portal goes beyond basic wallet management. Users can fund AI-run agent wallets, set spend limits, delegate onchain tasks, discover apps, and track balances, making it a unified dashboard for both retail users and those managing autonomous activity on the chain. On the yield side, in-app earn opportunities are routed through @Morpho, which is anchoring Arc's lending markets at launch alongside Aave.

The chain opened with eleven founding institutional validators alongside Circle, including BlackRock, DTCC, Visa, Mastercard, and ICE. More than 100 applications were live on day one, and Arc's public testnet processed more than 700 million transactions in under a year before mainnet opened.

Built for the Agentic Era

Circle positions Arc as the first blockchain designed from genesis for autonomous AI agents executing economic tasks. $USDC accounts for 98.8% of agent-driven transaction volume across Circle's products, underpinning the stablecoin's central role on the new chain. CEO Jeremy Allaire called Arc "the single most significant launch in Circle's history since USDC itself."
