Pepeto News: Why Did the Target Rise While Funds Barely Moved?

Pepeto's presale target rose $18,900 in five days. Why did the goal move while the money raised barely did?

This Pepeto News report compares dashboard readings from September 30 to October 26, 2026. They are project-displayed figures, not verified transactions.

A moving target makes progress hard to read.

Progress slipped from 97.03% on October 21 to 96.91% on October 26.

Pepeto News: Why Did the Displayed Target Increase?

Pepeto hasn't explained the change. The target has moved before, from $11,478,897 on September 30 to $11,568,045 on October 12.

No stage table, price schedule or target rule appears in the whitepaper or FAQ. The FAQ says only that the Pepeto presale may end at any time based on demand. That leaves the reason for each change unconfirmed.

The countdown moved too. An October 23 reading showed under seven hours left. On October 26 it showed 2 days 10 hours.

That implies the timer restarted, but Pepeto hasn't said so. The bar reads "Until Price Rise," and the displayed price moved from $0.0000001902 to $0.0000001903. That's a 0.05% change.

The homepage's static text holds placeholder values, so it can't confirm the live figures. Check the dashboard yourself, and note the time of each reading.

Pepeto News: Does 96.91% Progress Mean the Presale Is Ending?

Not necessarily. This Pepeto News check found the label says price rise, not sale end. No official closing date was found.

The FAQ ties the end to the final stage selling out, called the Day of Judgment. That's when claims open.

The whitepaper sets total supply at 420 trillion and the presale at 30%, or 126 trillion tokens. At today's displayed price, $11.26 million equals about 59.2 trillion tokens. Earlier stages may have cost less, so the true PEPETO tokens sold figure is unpublished.

Selling all 126 trillion at that price would raise about $24 million. That's roughly double the displayed target. So the target may not represent the whole presale.

The dashboard doesn't show:

  • Stage:which stage is open

  • Tokens sold:how many PEPETO tokens buyers hold

  • Prices:the schedule for later stages

  • Rule: how the target is set or changed

A price-rise countdown also doesn't confirm a Pepeto launch or listing. No exchange notice naming PEPETO was found in the sources reviewed.

The Bottom Line

This Pepeto News review finds the target rising faster than funds, leaving the gap wider than in late September. Pepeto hasn't explained why. The dashboard also omits tokens sold and stage terms.

Treat progress percentages as unverified until Pepeto publishes them.
